Good Stuff Body Scrubs are great for exfoliating away the dead skin cells from the epidermis of your skin (the top layer) and encouraging the live cells that are deep in the skin (the dermis) to turnover and refresh the skins appearance. If we don’t exfoliate, the skin can be left with dry, scaly, itchy patches and cause bacteria to accumulate in the pores.
Through exfoliation, we can help remove the dead skin cells revealing a fresher, younger glow to the skins surface. You should exfoliate 2-3 times per week depending on the sensitivity of your skin.
My scrubs are made with either pink Himalayan salt, white or brown sugar. I use apricot kernel oil as the base due to it’s natural ability to soften the skin and work well on combination skin types. It easily absorbs and has anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, antioxidant and anti-bacterial qualities which makes it an ally against acne causing bacteria.
Scrubs can be scented with a “flavor” or essential of your preference.
